Yemi Eberechi Alade
Yemi Eberechi Alade, simply known as Yemi Alade, is a Nigerian afro-pop singer, songwriter and a model. Yemi Eberechi Alade born March 13, 1989 in Abia State, Nigeria. Alade popularly referred to as a "Yoruba-Igbo girl" due to the fact that her father, Late CP James Alade, is of Yoruba origin, Ondo state to be precise, while her mother, Helen Uzoma, is from the South Eastern region of the country. Alade is the fifth of the seven children in her family. She attended St.  Saviour British Primary School, and later attended Victory Grammar School in Lagos before obtaining her first degree in Geography at the University of Lagos.
She came into limelight after winning the Peak Talent Show in 2009, and her hit single "Johnny" boosted her fame the more in 2014 when she teamed up with award winning Video Director, Clarence Peters.

Yemi Alade shared excerpts of her father’s burial ceremony early last year on Instagram.
 “I will forever be thankful and appreciative of the Nigerian Police Force for giving one of their own the type of burial Ceremony we only see in Movies. Papa will sleep well …God bless Ondo State,“

Alade has been featured on the covers of several magazines and performed around the world, sharing the stage and songs with Mary J. Blige, Shina Peters, M.I, Wizkid, Becca, May D, Waje and Yemi Sax. She released her debut album, King of Queens, on 2 October 2014, and the sophomore album Mama Africa, earlier this year.

She is currently signed to Effyzzie Entertainment. She is single as she is yet to walk down the aisle with any man.
