I AM AN ADVOCATE OF ONE LOCAL GOVERNMENT ONE PRODUCT - YOUTH MINISTER

Honourable Minister of Youth Development, Ayodele Olawande, today witnessed a N1billion matching fund pact signing between the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN) and Katsina State Government at SMEDAN Headquarters, Abuja. 

The Minister commended SMEDAN’s dedication to engaging young people productively and providing essential support for their creative expressions and income generation.

Also at the event, SMEDAN flagged off its flagship initiative, 'One Local Government One Product' (OLOP), designed to empower local cooperatives to stimulate production by supporting businesses leveraging the unique resource advantages of each local government. Minister Ayodele Olawande declared himself the chief advocate of the OLOP initiative, underscoring its potential to uncover vital resources in local governments across the country and contribute to economic diversification and growth.
